I’m not sure what “the task of any business is to make the customer feel that you are the most important person in the room” is. I get a lot of that coming from my friends who claim that their business is all about making a customer feel important, and I find that to be a tad condescending.
Businesses are businesses, whether they are brick-and-mortar stores, online businesses, or even the services they provide in person. The customer is always right, and I can’t think of a more important person to make feel important than the customer.
