The biggest problem with the vast majority of business databases is that they are simply too big. Most are comprised of hundreds to thousands of tables (I’m looking at you, IIS). When you add all your other tables, it’s like you’re adding another 40,000 lines of code. You can have 30 tables and still not be able to add the same amount of work.

That’s why Database.com was created. We have a plan to make our database as small as possible, so that adding new clients is as easy as adding a new column. We’ve set up a tool called “Add New Client” that will simply add a new column to your existing database.

As I said before, most of our databases are really just lists of columns. You can have hundreds or thousands of columns, and the database is still as easy to add as it is to access.

The problem is that we can’t add the same amount of work to the database, so we’re still just copying and pasting columns and rows. And while it does make our database larger, it just doesn’t give our customers the same amount of work. Database.com is a database system built on top of the RDBMS technology that powers Google and Microsoft. It’s very powerful but also very basic in every sense.

When the business database is more than half-full of work, there are two options: split it up or hire multiple people to do the same work in different departments.

This is where the “best” database is located. The best database will be one that is fully developed and built to a certain standard. It will have very few bugs, very few dead-ends, will have all the important data in the right place, and will be easy for all the employees to access and work with. This database is the one which is built by the people that actually know what they’re doing. They know how to build a database and are passionate about it.
