The new campus of pyongyang university is one of those buildings that will feel like your college in a way that you can’t quite put your finger on. Just like in America, you will feel like you are in a safe environment, but it will feel like you are in a school where you can’t be yourself. It’s been a little over a year since the university shut off the lights and locked down the gates, but it feels like the start of the semester is just around the corner.
I think the new campus is a great addition to the city. It is a student haven (if you want to be specific, I would say “a safe haven.”) for students, and its a lot closer to home than most of the other buildings. It’s hard to say what pyongyang university will be like, but Im very excited to see what the future holds.
There are a lot of new features in this new university. There are no classes, there are no professors, and there are no exams, but all these are still very new aspects of the university. I think the university will be more like a college, with the core classes offered in the same way, but with a more general, less structured curriculum.
I hope that the university will be more like an actual university in the sense that classes will not be offered online (which is what im talking about in the first term of college). The classes will be more like college courses, which means they will be more like lecture classes, but with online exams, assignments, and assignments. The only real difference is that the exams will be more like exams and be open to the community, so students will have to go to the university to get their exams.
