Like many of you my brother was a football player in high school. He played for the team that was known as “LeBron”. Not only did he play in the NFL, but he also won the gold medal as a basketball player.
Although I was quite a bit younger, my brother was the first to tell me that I should become a basketball player. And so I guess it was a natural progression when he started telling me that I should play baseball. I don’t know, it just seems like the most logical option for a person who enjoys the game of basketball.
Well, I guess that’s how it would go, but it’s not that logical. It takes a lot of work and dedication to be a good baseball player. And I know that I’m not that good, but I’m certainly not good enough to be a professional. For me, baseball’s an addiction. I love it, I love playing it, and I love trying to find ways to improve my skills so that I can become better.
