When you’re a young person, you’ve probably had that one friend who, while looking you in the eye while telling you their life story, doesn’t give a shit about your opinion. Then you go to college and realize this is a common trope of the student body. And since it’s a common trope, you start to believe it, whether you’re right or not.
Deathloop is a game about killing. So basically, you can do the same in a stealth-shooter without using a gun. But that doesnt mean you cant make your own cover or something. So this week I thought I’d post up a few old cover art screenshots that I thought fit the game’s theme. The fact that they all come from the same time period, and all look the same, is probably the most interesting thing about them all.
I’m not sure if it’s because of the genre, or the time period or the game itself, but all of these videos have a very unique style. The way they are shown in the video is different from the way they are presented in the video itself, so it might be something to do with that.
I love the way in which the video is shown. It has a very “old school” style with just a lot of sharp detail and very heavy line work. The old style of video was something I used to do all the time, and I think this style of video is something that I will start to do more of.

And how about the art style? I think the art style is very similar to that of the games. It’s pretty simple. The art styles are what makes the games and the games are what makes the art. That’s what I love about this design style.
