the house, the home, the home itself. Now we have become so attached to making decisions that we have to spend a lot of time worrying about the outcome of those decisions.

This may seem counter-intuitive, but I think it’s because we’ve become so attached to the idea that we’re in charge of every single decision that we no longer even notice how much of our life is influenced by our decisions.

I would argue that this is a big problem and that we are so addicted to the idea of control that we are losing sight of how much is left to choose from. The truth is that in most cases, we are making decisions we don’t really want to make in the first place, but we are also making decisions that we are not really aware of the ramifications of.

I think the fact that so many of us are addicted to the idea of control is indicative of a larger problem. The idea of control is in many cases a kind of neurosis, where a person who is in full control of their life and their emotions has a sense of self-importance and self-wisdom. When something happens, they are so caught up in the idea of themselves that they feel powerless and incapable of making their own decisions.
