There’s no good reason why a computer should not be able to do mathematics. It’s as simple as that.
You might wonder why I bring business mathematics into this post. Well, we are not all that mathematical but business is. We all know that companies make more money by adding more employees, or by making more products. We also know that companies can make more money by doing more of the same thing over and over again. If you have less employees and less products, you will need to hire more people to do the same thing.
This is how the system works. Suppose you have two companies A and B. A sells widgets and B sells widgets. You buy widgets from A and sell widgets from B. If there is no one from company A or B in the same market, then the market is “empty.” That means A and B can’t produce widgets anymore. If there is only one person in A or B’s market, they will increase their sales by selling more widgets.
This is a very simple problem to solve. The problem is that you cannot solve a problem unless there is someone to solve it. You can only solve a problem if at least one person wants to solve the problem. But if there is only one person who wants to solve the problem, they don’t want to solve it. Instead of using the company A as a solution to the problem, you can use the company B as a solution to the problem.
Because the answer to this problem is no, but the answer to the problem is a lot more in your favor.
Business calculus is really a great way to understand the theory behind what we do day to day. It is also a great way to demonstrate the value of a particular approach to solving a problem.
